This is an unsigned desktop preview.

These are portable ZIP bundles, not installers. Windows and macOS may ask you to approve opening the app. Linux has been tested; native Windows and macOS execution has not yet been verified.

After downloading

Install Contexty.
Then make it yours.

Provider subscriptions are separate.
Sign in with the accounts you already use.

macOS 13 or later · Apple Silicon or Intel

  1. Choose the right Mac build.

    Open the Apple menu → About This Mac. If it shows an Apple M-series chip, download Apple Silicon. If it shows an Intel processor, download Intel.

  2. Move the app to Applications.

    Double-click the downloaded ZIP. Open the extracted Context IO-darwin-arm64 or Context IO-darwin-x64 folder, then drag Context IO.app into Applications.

  3. Open Context IO.

    Double-click the app in Applications. If macOS says the developer cannot be verified, dismiss the prompt, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, then click Open Anyway for Context IO. Confirm Open and authenticate if asked.

Still blocked? Remove this app’s quarantine flag+

For the Contexty download from this page, after moving it into Applications, open Terminal and run:

macOS quarantine command
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Context IO.app"
open "/Applications/Context IO.app"

This removes the downloaded-file quarantine attribute from this app only. Administrator access usually isn’t needed when you own the copied app. If macOS reports a damaged app, compare the ZIP’s SHA-256 with the checksum above and download it again if they differ.

Once the app is open

01Create your first project+

Create a project, add a brief, and import files or save a note. Start a new thread and choose ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, or Meta AI.

02Sign in and start a conversation+

Sign into your selected provider on its website inside Contexty. Saved profiles keep your login available across threads; choose an isolated login when you want a separate session.

To use “Summarize & continue,” sign into Contexty in Settings. Other project and provider features do not require a Contexty account.
